I find the form convenient for travelling, but I much prefer pucks (I am a face latherer, but I like loading the brush first). However, there is one soap that will never not be in my den:

I like sticks because they are easy to use. Being a face latherer, I appreciate that I don't even have to load the brush. I simply rub the stick on my wet face and then build the lather, no bowl needed.

Right now the Maxwell June with the „EX“-cap. Wonderfully balanced, extremely smooth and gentle and very thoroughly with minimal bladefeel. I would call it „unbeatable“ for this price.

Favourite but now a “show pony” my Gillette Aristocrat Gen 1 replated in Rhodium, she’s a beauty, though for a vintage shave my 2 piece (Set 88) or ABC razor just edge it out for smoothness and closeness of shave!! YMMV.

Pipe smokers, in my opinion, are drawn to the ritual of preparing the pipe and tobacco. The pipe must be properly loaded, lit correctly, and smoked slowly, tamping at the right time. Quite different from lighting a cigarette and puffing away...
I don't even smoke but I love how they look - and the prices of some of them make our shaving hobby seem like a cheap pass time...
