Lawrence here - I'm active with SOTD posts on Shave Dad and many of the other Facebook groups. I'm also on Badger & Blade as Ranyart Finn. Been wet shaving for coming up to 4 years, head and face, and I've amassed quite the collection of DE and...
I wasn't sure at first I wanted to be part of a club that would have someone like me as a member. 😇
I've been wet shaving for over 4 years. I've got a very moderate collection of razors, and brushes in a rotation and about 50 plus soap & splash...
Hello! My name is Paul and I have been in the hobby since 2013. It's great to see a new forum starting up. I looking forward to hanging out with you all.
I live in Bellingham Washington USA.
Favourite but now a “show pony” my Gillette Aristocrat Gen 1 replated in Rhodium, she’s a beauty, though for a vintage shave my 2 piece (Set 88) or ABC razor just edge it out for smoothness and closeness of shave!! YMMV.
Mmh, I used 2 hands for my 10-12 month attempt at SR’s but when I went to a “genuine” Kamisori I used my dominant R hand to complete the shave, there were some “bloody” good nicks initially 😂😂
Yardley bastard :cautious:
I'm leaning towards Woolly Wash Soapery (Australian made) from etsy.com
Night at the Pub
Shear (unscented) this soap is almost 100% perfect, just like Mitchell's Wool Fat ;)🥃
Welcome aboard, I tried/persevered with SR’s for about 10-12mths before getting “annoyed” with my technique, I then discovered Kamisori’s and have an Iwasaki for my Saturday shave and or special occasions. Luv them but mainly AC’s now “bloody” 🐇...
Im sure more than a few of us like fishing.
Whether it's on a boat on the beach or jetty on rocks or netting.
You get the idea.
Please share your stories and of course pics here.
We all love a tall fishing tail.😉
To start of my wife and myself...
Mine was Old Spice but seeing SOTD photos on P&C by a member @Gargravarr has led me down the vintage Yardley trail, currently using one and have one (fully sealed 1950’s) to use next. Also coming on January the 4th, 2 Jack Jarvis soaps from...
Currently awaiting a La Faulx S/S machine finish with the ++ plate for my 70th next month. I’m finding the AC RAD is very addictive and “believe” I may end up using one 🤔 exclusively 😂, but with RAD who knows, as I’m led to believe there’s no cure?
Yes, an x pipe smoker, still have my Falcon in the study and “miss” the smell of my Borkum Riff tobacco. I stopped smoking on my 40th and have 3-4 Cuban cigars a year as a “special” treat 👍
I don't even smoke but I love how they look - and the prices of some of them make our shaving hobby seem like a cheap pass time...
LOOK AT THIS!!!
I also love the smell of pipe tobacco

Face lather only, started on Boars, Badger awaiting a Synthetic to arrive any day now. 4-5 brushes made for me by TroyTools in Brisbane top quality workmanship. Favourite to date an AP 70/30 knot, does cream, soft n hard soaps but great on...
Hi all, LesC from the world famous P&C (Australia/NZ) wet shaving forum. Vintage Gillettes my RAD but AC’s really starting to “win” me over, awaiting a La Faulx for my 70th next month. Cheers n good luck to “shavechat”
