It will obviously have a very different feel, and would be more akin to a linen/cotton effect, so I would still finish on the smooth side.

Same regarding both hands as a result of straight shaving and it has carried over when I revert to a safety razor. However, for whatever reason I’ve never switched hands on the ATG pass on the right side of my face. No idea why.
