It has been a spell since I have used this little bad boy. Very close 2 pass shave.
One of my favorite injectors, the Schick C3. When I first got it I thought it shaved like a brick and almost put it back up for sale. That would have been a mistake as it now gives me one of the most trouble-free and smoothest shaves in my den...
Just go down to the bottom post reply and there's a box to the left that says attach files click that attach box , navigate to where your pic is stored on your phone / pc and click on your pic to attach you'll then get to make it full or...

@twhite sharpened the old GEM blades for me. I have used them, but now I use modern GEM blades in it.
I have a bunch of AutoStrop and Valet razors. I use modified Gem blades in the older ones. I can use Feather SE blades in some of the Valets...
I have the same issues with my neck when using my straights. I can’t bend my arms in the right direction. And, right side ear to ear, my skin stretch hand blocks my view in the mirror.
Great to see you here Rudy. I'm sure you already know but we all love to see SOTD pictures.
Sweet razor Tom. Thanks for joining in.
Thank you. I really like the Hydro-Magic razors. You should have seen my Shick Hydro-Magic slant razor.

Dear Wet Shavers,
I took a huge risk on a Christmas gift for my wife this year. I bought her a mint Lady Gillette pink razor on eBay. Then I worked with Zach at Norton Custom designs on Etsy for a case for the razor. When she opened it up...
I started around 1980, I had a Supermarket razor similar to a 3 piece Gillette, not a very nice razor and light weight.
I did end up buying a Gillette Black Beauty.
Ive never really thought about wet shaving as a hobby or interest until about 5...
I started shaving in 1982-83 with a spare Gillette black handle super speed my father had lying around.
I remember he was already using one of the twin blade cartridge razors.
He would have said something like "use this if you want to shave of...
I have used carts and bic disposibles since 1982. then the Mach 3's until 2016.
I have used Wilkinson Sword soap and a brush since 2006..with carts,,

A fairly quick search ( no offence intended ) stated the following........
A "deluxe" Gillette DE (double-edge) razor, typically referring to vintage models like the Gillette NEW Deluxe from the 1930s, featured premium materials, specialized...
I don't think this gets talked about enough. Unlike DE blades, which more or less all have same dimensions, SEs come in different lengths and thicknesses which can much more dramatically change the way your razor feels. Here is a comparison of...
My first shave was early 1980. It was with a Gillette Black Beauty. Brush was a Surry I believe and it was Williams in an Old Spice mug. Most likely Old Spice AS. That was my setup for 10 years until I got married and I started with disposables...

Hi Shave Den friends and other wet-shaving enthusiasts. I wasn't going to look for a new forum after the closure of TSD, but I realized after 11 years, I would really miss the many friends I made over there.
Sooo....here I am. :)
My dad a few years ago split his knife collection up with my son and my nephew. Just random knives. No real colletable knives. He gave me an early Cattaraugus scout knife. That bad boy is in excellent shape. I will dig it out and post a pick of...
