Shave of the day for 15th December '25 to 15th January 2026

Pre-shave; Warm shower, face rinse with MWF bar soap.
Brush; AP Shave Co, Etched Series ‘’Sea Voyager’’, Red resin handle and a 24mm AP Luxury bulb knot of mixed hair, 70% 2 band Finest Badger & 30% Pure Boar. Looks great with the Old Spice Mug!!
Soap; Old Spice, soap puck 3.75oz (1965-75) in a late 02 milk-glass mug ‘’Grand Turk’’ (1964-78)
Razor; Blackland, Vector AC razor S/S polished.
Blade; Schick, Proline P30.
Post-shave; Shulton, Old Spice Original, red plastic bottle, 4.25oz (Bottle style 1986)
Cologne/EDP;
Moisturiser;
Attar (Perfume Oil);
Shave;
2nd shave of 2026 with a NOS 3.75oz Old Spice shave soap n mug set. Lather was better than expected, nice and slick and still remaining scent after all these years. Using the Vector and I still can’t make up my mind between blades for this, I like the Shick P30 but believe a closer shave with Kai Titan mild PINK?
The A/S splash was great, enjoyable time, cheers.
I sense a bit of a theme there @LesC 😉
Cheers.

As this is my first shave of 2026 I have to give credit to Stirling Soap Company’s Rod and Mandy. They are awesome people and a great small business. Prior to last March I had never used “Artisan Shave Soap” even though I had been shaving for many decades. Stirling shave soap actually changed something from a chore to something I now truly cherish. I enjoy the quiet of the “me time” during my shaves. I have a nice little collection of razors both modern and vintage and a fair assortment of different Artisan shave soaps.
I truly enjoy reading informative posts here and seeing pictures of products I would like to try.

Gillette F4 Toggle, Kia blade, Prorasso sensitive skin, Omega EVO brush, Stirling Soap Company’s Arance Mandarini (absolutely favorite scent) soap, aftershave, balm, and EDP. I will be smelling and feeling good!
Lovely set up mate and pic
I see you’re pretty keen on the Stirling Arance Mandarini range.👍
Cheers.

I’m going through a bit of the flu, but I felt good enough to get this shave in. What a fantastic scent and incredible label art done by none other than @s_0_g_6. View attachment 199

Friday's Cold Water Shave

Cold Water Rinse
Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap.
Jayaruh #119 Synthetic
Gillette NEW Short Comb
Gillette Silver Blue
Cold Water Rinse
Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aqua Velva Musk

The Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap was face-lathered well with Jayaruh #119 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette NEW Short Comb Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva Musk After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Lovely razor @brit is the shave similar the British aristocrat which looks a bit like it?
Cheers.
It is quite similar to the 3rd generation British Aristocrat shave wise,but also rarer ; was only available from 1949-51 at Christmas time in the U.S I believe.. :)
