Hi all,
if you’ve been into traditional wet shaving for quite awhile. Or even if you’ve only been wet shaving for a a short time you now doubt are aware of all the different designs shapes sizes and knots that make up shaving brushes. I find it quite fascinating how many types there are.
Not to mention all the different types of knots.
In the past as a lot of you know it was mainly animal fibres. Today we are lucky. There are so many synthetic variations that in some cases rival or even better the natural fibres that knots were traditionally made of.
Do you have a favourite brush
in your den or bathroom or wherever you choose to shave you get the idea.
Tell tell us all about it what you like and what maybe you don’t like and also the brush or brushes you’d like to acquire in the future. What type brush  knots like synthetic or natural fibre.
Have you maybe had a go at making your own?
You get the idea. Post them here. and don’t forget to upload some pictures so we can see them and admire them the way you do.
Cheers.

I think my favorite brush is one I got from ETSY - Some making Required. Alas no longer in business (I think...) Its just the right size, the knot is awesome I fitted that myself (a super lux 2-band). Lovely in every way.

Nice Amber colour and the joy making it yourself.

I like Boar's, Boar's are not super expensive, a Boar will make Lather, Exfoliate Skin & Beard, and last apply Lather like most other Brush's.

My Current Boar in use is a cheap Omega 10019 Boar. Honestly it is a lot of bang for the buck. Finally starting to get Soft Split Ends, and Bloom.

I love my boar brushes, both Semogue and Omega.Omega 10098 knots are in most of my custom brushes.I like tuxedo synthetic..and some best badger brushes ..:)

My preference depends on the day, the soap and the mood a favourite for the last couple of weeks is an Oumo with an M-1 Badger 29mm knot. 1000049870.jpg

My “top” favourite brush is me Trubby 2.5 ( 1/2 way between a Simpson 2 & 3)with a 24mm Badger knot made out of Jarrah (curly) hardwood, finished in multiple coats ofAC, image.jpgimage.jpgmade by Troy at Troy Craft in Brisbane, Australia.
