Just got a shiny new (to me) Gillette Tech

Just in from eBay, a very nice 1952 (X-3) Gillette Tech with the plastic handle. I can imagine that the plastic handle would not be especially durable if subjected to years of regular use, so I'm thinking this razor has not been used very much, if at all. The nickel plating is very bright. I'm looking forward a first shave with it tomorrow.



Here it is compared to its brothers, a pre-war Tech with the fat handle, and a 1957 (G-2) ball-end Tech.

fine score.hard to beat a vintage tech with a sharp blade for a daily shaver..
