TOBS Oud~~Culmak SM1/Allen Long Reserve VI~~2010 Mühle R41/Wizamet Polsilver~~Ogallala Bay Rum
I have been 3017'ing this cream for about a month and am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
The Culmak is a recent acquisition and it was fitted with my first Allen Long knot.
It's a beauty.

Still chugging' along with the TOBS Oud.
Today's brush is yesterday's big brother.
The Culmak 92 was purchased NOS...still had the price tag on the bottom of the handle.
The Best Badger knot is extraordinary.​

You can see I am almost there...
The GSK razor was FAR ahead of its time. It's a wonderful razor. Lightweight and nimble.
Finished with the long-discontinued M7 ASB.​

A&E Chasing the Dragon~~Simpson "Rover"~~Gustave Lalune Mon Fier Destrier~~Montale Aoud Ever
Not a 3017 choice, but the Chasing the Dragon is a stunning soap. The scent is like nothing else I own
and the lather is tops.
The drop-forged Lalune, while larger than most of my straights, is surprisingly easy to strop and wield.
Pretty great shave---even on the neck.​

MWF (Cavendish-Infused)~~Semogue SOC Boar~~Feather ACS-RSW SS/Schick Proline~~Amouage Opus XIV Royal Tobacco
Today's soap is a Cavendish-Infused puck of MWF. It's a fun project; one that I have posted on other sites, but I guess I am the only
one willing to do something like this, so I won't boar you with the details.
MWF (tallow) lathers amazingly and produces a very slick and protective base.
The tobacco scent really ups the ante.​

Who doesn't love a great fougère?
Rhetorical question...everyone, of course.
And the absolute KING of fougères is...Brut.
This is a vintage "pressurized" bottle of the juice Joe Namath made famous.
It still has it, men.​

I Coloniali~~Simpson CH2 Synthetic Badger~~Fatip Lo Storto Originale/Wizamet Polsilver~~I Coloniali AS Emulsion
I am still pondering my next 3017 and all the while enjoying re-visiting soaps I haven't used in a while.
The I Coloniali really dried up since my last outing, however, with a very wet brush and some vigorous loading, I was rewarded with a stupendous lather.​

Ethos Tears of a Dragon~~Paladin TSN 3rd Anniversary 39/100~~Fatip Lo Start Originale/Wizamet Polsilver
More variety. The Ethos is a very nice soap. Some noticeable oud, but mostly rose.
Love the Paladin.​

Fine American Blend~~Black Eagle HT1~~Cobra Classic/Schick Proline~~Vintage YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme
Every time I lather up the original Fine soap (made by Valobra), I am saddened that such a magnificent product was discontinued
in favor of some non-tallow blech.
Spritzing on the vintage YSL is always a pleasure.​
