Vintage razorblades do you collect them?

Hi Shave&Chat,
For quite sometime now I have collected vintage DE razor blades.
They have quite a long history stretching back more than 100 years now with literally hundreds of different brands with so many different variations and design tweaks over the years.
I find it fascinating how the metal they are made of has evolved over time from carbon steel into stainless steel and all the different coatings manufacturers have added to their surfaces to make them more efficient and last longer.
Do you have a stash or collection of vintage blades DE or SE?
to show off and tell us all about.
And of course please Post some pics of them.
I will do the same shortly.
Cheers and enjoy.

@Vittoria , I’ve got a few packets and some loose/single ones, but the enclosed photo is a packet I received with a 1909 Gillette ABC, but can’t confirm date etc from Mr Razor’s Blade page?image.jpg

I have a lifetime supplies of NOS English Wilkie, Gillette Stainless Red & White, Gillette US Spoilers, Gillette Aussie Spoilers, NOS Wizamet Super Iridium and also the NOS Wizamet Polsilver Stainless.

I have a ton of the Gillette Spoiler but what is the Aussie Spoiler? I also have a lifetime supply of vintage Pol Silver in the brown package and vintage Wizamets in the brown package. Also have a ton of Persona Tungsten 74 blades.

Superb blades, unfortunately I’ve only got 3 left, really enjoy them in my Gen 1 Aristocrat for a “special” shave. Sabbatical this year so will look for some 2027 🤞.
Vintage Aussie Spoilers are extremely difficult and very rare to come by online nowadays, they normally charge $40 or 50 AUD per pack of five blades.

That sounds great @SpeedyPC
How about posting some pictures of them? Surely you can do this once I am aware of your non-picture rule?🙂
Cheers.

Sabbatical
To me Sabbatical he’s just a word for missing one year of your life where you could be having just some small things to make it more enjoyable. We never know how much time we have left.😏
Cheers

PROBAK junior blades.
By the late 1920s, Gillette had become complacent. They were still manufacturing blades using the outdated method of stamping when competitors had been making blades from continuous steel strip for several years.
Henry Gaisman, owner of the AutoStrop and Probak companies, had been pestering Gillette to buy him out on the grounds that he had invented a better blade that was softer in the middle and thus less prone to cracking.
Gillette refused him until 1930 when Gaisman brought his new razor and Gillette-fitting Probak blades to market before Gillette could bring out their new Kroman blades (which, as a side note, turned out to be terrible).
Gaisman sued Gillette for patent infringement and Gillette finally agreed to a merger.
However, what was supposed to be a simple albeit expensive buyout became much more costly when during a financial audit ordered by AutoStrop it turned out that Gillette had fraudulently misreported their sales numbers to inflate profits.
In the light of this potential legal disaster, Gaisman demanded a much larger chunk of voting shares instead of the 310,000 non-voting shares he previously asked for.
He had Gillette's balls in a vice, and so the merger was completed on October 16, 1930. (sourced from reddit)

Cheers.
