Hello Gents.there are many brands of double edge razors produced in the last 120+ years,all starting with the mighty Gillette..which one did you shave with today? All DE models welcome,modern or vintage.

although it's a 1.05/1.15 dual gap, I solely used the 1.15 gap today... and what a glorious shave it was.

Hi Les I’ll be passing on that mate. Still trying to top up the holiday fund to go over to Thailand soon we will be taking our little daughter over to meet her grandma for the first time.
I actually had one up until last year about NOS still in the box sold it to Errol. I was just happy It’s got a good home.
I must admit the BRG version is really nice

Sounds like a great holiday coming up. Not enabling BUT my brothers on his way back from Chang Mai to NZ via Aus, while he was there I asked him to contact “Man of Siam” for the 2 Jack Jarvis shave soaps he makes the Cadwgawn and Thai Ginger Zest, I’ll have them next week ( Bladerunner recently reviewed the Cadwgawn)

J3 Slim. The first vintage Gillette I ever bought. Found it in an antique shop in Orono, Ontario, and I paid way over the odds for it ($90), but I didn't care as I was just so thrilled to find a a vintage adjustable in good condition out in the wild. I've bought more Slims since, and paid a lot less money, but this one still occupies a special place in my collection, and I won't part with it.

The Assassin 2.0 (gap 2.0) with a positive exposure of .10 is an incredible shaver. Very close and smooth. I did use a Dorco Titan blade which is pretty decent.
