Yes, an x pipe smoker, still have my Falcon in the study and “miss” the smell of my Borkum Riff tobacco. I stopped smoking on my 40th and have 3-4 Cuban cigars a year as a “special” treat

Hi Les I remember my old man had a pipe when I was young He used to put rolly tobacco in it.
Some times he would bum a smoke of someone rip the filter of a stuff it in.
The old boy didn't give a rats.
Pipe smokers, in my opinion, are drawn to the ritual of preparing the pipe and tobacco. The pipe must be properly loaded, lit correctly, and smoked slowly, tamping at the right time. Quite different from lighting a cigarette and puffing away. If all the steps are done correctly, to also include carefully selecting a good pipe (not the same as high priced), it won’t be a good experience.
